There are two main techniques in jacquard weaving, warp jacquard and weft jacquard. The warp jacquard can only produce common weaving texture such as plain texture, twill texture and stripes textures. While, weft jacquard can produce various exquisite patterns.

Jacquard loom can also weaving single jacquard pattern and double jacquard patterns. A single jacquard weaving only make custom pattern in one side, while the other side is plain texture. The double jacquard weaving can simultaneously make custom patterns in both sides of elastic bands.
